- When am I charged, & how does Zumo make money? -

At Zumo, we are completely transparent about transaction fees & how our users are charged. Hidden-fees are a sign of disrespect, we believe you deserve better.

As a non-custodial wallet, all your crypto is stored on the Blockchain. Zumo is not a Bank, we don’t access your crypto or hoard it centrally. When you send or exchange Bitcoin (BTC) or Ether (ETH), those transactions require a nominal external cost to validate. This fee is used to process the transaction & can be set to increase or decrease the speed and cost of your transactions, with lower-fees taking longer & higher-fees being faster.

This external transaction fee is not charged by Zumo, & we make no revenue from it. Zumo makes its revenue from a 0.5% transaction fee when an account exchanges between Bitcoin (BTC) & Ether (ETH), & when £ (GBP) is used to buy these digital currencies.

It is 100% free for users to install Zumo, to create an account, receive Bitcoin (BTC) & Ether (ETH), & load, store, & spend your £ (GBP)!
