March 24, 2022: Shuffle button

HBO Max is rolling out a new shuffle play button for those who have no idea what to watch next. The button will play random episodes on 45 shows, including A World of Calm, The Big Bang Theory, Friends, South Park and more. For desktop users who have trouble finding something to watch, the technology can help them do the selections.

March 7, 2022: US soccer matches

HBO Max will soon begin to stream US soccer matches as part of its subscription services. From 2023 to 2030, HBO Max will air more than 20 matches a year, including various events for both the women’s and men’s national soccer teams in the US.

January 14, 2022: 20% Discounts

Right now, HBO Max is offering 20 percent off both its ad-supported and ad-free monthly subscription plans. HBO Max is dropping the price of its ad-free subscription plan from $14.99 a month to $11.99 a month. Alternatively, you can opt into the $9.99-a-month, ad-supported tier for $7.99 a month. The discount will be available until January 26th. 

August 3, 2021: Watch select episodes for FREE

HBO Max is offering some episodes for free for its potential subscribers. Starting from August 3, new viewers can watch 13 episodes without signing up for a subscription. Batwoman, Euphoria, Game of Thrones are all on the list. You can refer to the full list on all of HBO Max’s devices.
